Our Story :)

Whoa, I haven't written on here in a way long time! I need to get better at it...I always regret not writing things down. One thing that I want written down is our story...so, here it goes :)

January 23, 2011- Sunday/Monday: It was midnight and I went to beto's with my brother, sister-in-law and some friends. (As was tradition every sunday night) We walked in and I saw Brady Sanderson. He came over and talked to me, asked how I was, etc. Then I looked over and saw his roommate, tall and extremely handsome! I didn't say anything because I was "writing to someone on a mission." Nothing came out of it.

January 27, 2011- Thursday: My roommate, Hannah Fenton was having a party at our apartment. I was sitting at our table talking to Hillery, Kendyl and Alex when all of a sudden, Alex Wankier, Jashon bishop and the super hot boy from betos walked in! Jashon and super hot boy sat down at the table and we all talked for a few hours. I found out that the super hot boys name was Brandon Fonda and had gone to a mission in Brazil. This sparked some interest since I was "writing someone down there." So we began talking about it and found out each others interests and stuff. They left that night and little did I know that he would become my husband!

January 28, 2011-Friday : I texted Jashon to ask for Brandon's number so that I could ask what he was doing that night. They were both on their way to provo for something...wouldnt be back until sunday.

January 31, 2011- Monday: My roommates and I invited them over to watch "The Bachelor" with us. They came over and I sat on the floor in front of Brandon. He started to play with my ponytail and I got butterflies and realized I actually had feelings for this guy!

February 2, 2011-Wednesday: I was at work and was nervous to text Brandon for fear that I was bugging him. A co-worker was helping me figure out what to text and then he remembered there was a USU basketball game that night so I should go with Brandon. I was so nervous to text and ask but I did and he said he'd love for me to come! So after work I hurried home and got ready and ran to the game. I was freaking out! I forgot how it felt to have a crush on someone :) We talked and flirted the whole game ;) After the game was over he asked me to come over to his house, I agreed and we walked over there. He showed me his mission book (he took the fact that I was writing a missionary to his advantage, smart boy, smart smart boy. :) ) Then I made him play me his guitar, he had me then and there! haha

We text and hung out the rest of that week.

February 11, 2011- Friday: Went over to Brandon's to watch a movie. We watched "I am Legend" and I held his hand. He was too wimpy :) haha No, he just didn't want to move too fast in fear that I'd leave, or so he says.

February 14, 2011-Monday: Valentines day! He asked me to go ice skating with him, I said yes, of course! It took me hours to figure out what to wear and how to do my hair, my roommate Jaden let me borrow her black pea coat, thanks again Jaden! haha none of my clothes were cute enough. While we were skating, he held my hand, instant butterflies! :) I was so happy to be with him. After skating, we drove to david and kelli's apartment and before we got out of the car he gave me a soccer jersey that he got on his mission. WAY better than flowers! I think he secretly knew we would get married, why else would he give me something so memorable!? :) He's the cutest. This is the jersey:

Beginning of March- Brandon left to go on a road trip for spring break :( I stayed at my apartment all week by myself because of work. I had a lot of time to think. I thought about how good I felt around Brandon, I thought about what an amazing guy he was, how happy I was now that I was with him, how good of  dad he'd be, millions of thoughts ran through my head that week! Being with him felt like the best decision I could ever make. He went to San Clemente, California to a campground that was up on a cliff-like thing that over looked the ocean (this comes into play 5 months later). He sent me a picture of the beautiful view and said he missed me :) I missed him too....more than I expected to. He came home on a wednesday and came over. We talked about his trip and then watched Despicable Me. Then..........dun dun dun! FIRST KISS!!!!!!!!! :)

March 24-26, 2011: I went away for a couple days for "Silent Weekend" and I really missed him. Thought about him a lot! When I came home we laid on the floor while listening to music and talked. Then he went silent, I asked him what he was thinking and he said, "I'm thinking that I love you, I love you, I love you!" "Finally!" I replied. It felt so good to have him say it and I said that I loved him too :)

We went on lots of dates through out the semester. My favorite date was when we took a random drive to Bear Lake :) We went on lots of drives and had lots of good talks. He was everything I ever wanted in a person and felt like nothing was forced. It all came naturally. I NEVER got sick of being with him. I wanted to always be there for him and do things for him. I had never been happier, ever.

One day- we decided that we should go get my ears pierced, so we did.
One day- we went and fed the ducks
One day- we went and played catch with a baseball and climbed on a roof.
We loved watching movies
We loved laying on the floor, listening to John Mayer and just talking. It was so easy to talk to him


We had so much fun, ALWAYS :)


May 6, 2011- Semester ended and Brandon had to go back to South Jordan. Worst night ever. We were so sad. During the summer, he came up EVERY weekend :) And I would go down there when I could. This was the best summer ever.

Beginning of July- I went down to South Jordan and we drove to the mall and went ring shopping! :) :)

August 4, 2011- went on vacation to San Clemente, California with Brandon's family. So much fun!

August 9, 2011- Brandon and I walked up to the campground where he went on his road trip and realized he missed me and hated being away, and he proposed! Such an amazing feeling, knowing that he'll be by my side forever :)

Planning the wedding was stressful. But it wasn't about the wedding. When I would step back and think about the temple and being married to Brandon, nothing else mattered. I have no doubt in my mind that we were prepared for each other :)

November 19, 2011- We were sealed for time and all eternity :) I still need to write a post just about this day. It will come eventually!

Lately, we're working lots and I'm just pushing through the last month of school. We have so many things to look forward to this summer and have never been happier. We fall in love more and more each day and couldn't be happier with our life together :)
